Burning Man is a beloved chapter in our life, and we have great reverence for the power and necessity of such a spiritual pilgrimage. We also acknowledge that such pilgrimages need to be more widely accessible than this one, and that Burning Man is ecologically and energetically unsustainable. We do not plan to return unless we have a reason to believe it will have outstanding EROI.


Reunion is a co-created state of being where our nervous systems finally feel safe enough to relax, allowing us to transition from defensive bracing to a shared sense of belonging. It is a mature interdependence that doesn’t erase who we are, but instead offers a trustworthy space where we can be our truest selves without having to carry the weight of reality alone.
